I FEEL LIKE BREAKING INTO A DANCE

She saw herself smiling in her reflection on the painting in front of her. Goddess Saraswathi sat cross legged totally in sync with the music she was playing on her Veena. A Royal blue peacock was looking at the Goddess. At the backdrop there were many lotuses in the lake. She smiled profusely but Goddess Saraswathi in the Raja Ravi Varma painting remained composed. The Bluetooth speaker was thumping to Punjabi music. She was swaying and shrugging her shoulders in a sequential manner to One Love by Shubh.
The white Mysore silk saree with rich, golden border matched with a red silk blouse commanded respect and dignity by the goddess. She was gifted this painting by her mother. A mother who is full of knowledge and experience. What makes a mother? She wanted to ask herself.
Giving. Giving it all is what it takes. Goddess started shrugging her shoulders too. In 2024, Taking after Giving makes sense. The Goddess agrees and nods. She nods and feels like breaking into a dance. They break into a dance. She asks permission whether she could showcase her jive dance class skills with the goddess. The goddess has four hands. And she has two. Good only she thinks. The Goddess splits into two parts. While one remains seated and continues to play the Veena to add to the fusion. The other Mother dances with her. They break into an invisible dance. Symphony and Epiphany. One gives and one takes.
