Unlove

I sat there looking at the rainbow. Not in the sky. The rainbow I had doodled which was the wallpaper on my screen. I keep wondering why a rainbow makes me so happy. Maybe it’s the colours. Maybe it’s the rarity of its occurrence. Maybe because it brings a possibility of both rain and shine with it. Maybe rainbows excite kids. Rainbows are like laughs. They don’t excite adults. Kids laugh often. Adults go to stand up comedy shows to laugh and find problems there too.

Rainbows are a reminder. A reminder to unlove.

The kid in me loves the rainbow. The Adult me can’t stand laughing at other people’s jokes. My jokes are precious. My precious unloveable “Just for gags”

An Indian girl band had an “Unlove” rendition of a well known song:

Because he was wrong!

Unlove is all we plead.

The girl band is called Lemon Sass Sisters. They aren’t available on the internet as of now. They are busy unloving.
